The 100sjBlock Mural
The exhibition district/Local Color led the One-Hundred-SJ-Block mural project which consisted of 100 artists painting 3x3 squares. This event's purpose was to beautify the city and bring art to the community in San Jose California.
Influence
Influenced by my favorite comic artist, Fiona Staples, this design illustrated my love of roller skating and my unique sense of humor. I sketched the concept out and translated it onto my assigned square using house paint. The process took a little over one day to accomplish. My piece was revealed along with my fellow muralists at a celebration of San Jose's public art.
